China and Europe are important subjects in the world’s clean energy technology research and application. To jointly cope with global climate change issues, the EU and China launched a long-term international cooperation in the field of near-zero emission coal utilization research. The collaboration is led by Chinas Agenda 21 Center and the European Council, participating units are from all over China and the EU/EEA countries, including important energy power groups, government agencies, research organizations and scientific & technological research universities. As the director of IP supporting project in Chinese side, Professor Yu Xiang is leading the team of the Sino-German Institute for Intellectual Property, to do the research of the cross border IPR protection, knowledge sharing and technology transfer mechanism of EU-China.
