JSPS inauguration of the First Session Chinese Alumni Congress was held on November 20^th in Beijing.Prof. Yu Xiang,director from Chinese-German Intellectual Property Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was elected as the president of the 1^st Session Chinese Alumni of JSPS.

It is reported that Prof. Tao Ruibao(Fudan University),Prof. Wu Xiaoan(Peking University),Prof. Zhao Baohua(University of Science and Technology of China),Prof. Zhang Hong(Zhejiang University),Prof. Wang Jinqing(Chinese Academy of Sciences) are elected as the vice president.
About JSPS:
JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) was founded in 1932, is representative of the funding agencies in Japan.It’s similar to the Natural Science Foundation of China and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation of Germany. It mainly funds universities engaging academic research and international exchange.
