International Cooperation
On December 1st 2010,invited by Chinese-German Institute for Intellectual Property of Huazhong University of Science and Technology（HUST）, Prof. Heinz Goddar gave a lecture on Recent Patent Cases in Germany-Impact on IP Practice .
Firstly,Prof. Xiang Yu introduced Prof. Heinz Goddar: he is Honorary Professor of University of Bremen and the former chairman of Licensing Executives Society International.He is the consulting professor of HUST since 2008.
Combined with a few recent landmark patent cases in Germany, Professor Heinz Goddar made analysis on the following topics：
1. The patentability of "Selective invention" in Chemical Compounds field.
2. The patentability of computer software-related inventions in IT field.
3. The compulsory licensing and antitrust guidelines of standardized patents as Technical standards,such as the communication technology field.
4. The differences between the legal applicability of Germany and the European Patent Office.
5. The differences between the practice guidelines of Germany and the European Patent Office.
6. German judicial system and its influence on technology innovation and the practice of invention.
