In order to help members to be more in-depth understanding and implementation of Technology Management Plan, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the U.S. Department of Energy has held a Symposium from March 5, 2012 to March 7,2012 in Haikou. Prof. Xiang YU was Invited to give two lectures titled “TMP & IP Protocol in the US-China CERC-ACTC Joint Research Project：the Role, Difficulties and Strategies” and” Patent Licensing in China”.

More than 100 experts from China-US Clean Energy Alliance, as well as relevant government departments and the intellectual property community participated in the two days heated discussion.

Representatives has reached consensus on some important issues. Both sides agreed that the second Intellectual Property Symposium will be held in the U.S. later this year. Experts from China and the U.S. will further discuss the implement of TMP and the follow-up work of Intellectual Property.
