On September 5, Prof. Yu Xiang attended the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services Forum, and delivered a keynote speech on "China-Europe Green Innovation and IPR Cooperation", discussing the irreplaceable and cooperative roles of innovation as well as IPR in the Sino-Europe relationship. With the topic of “Promoting green cooperation for a win-win future”, the Forum aims to build consensus and contribute solutions for the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the 2035 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

At the forum, the Academician Advisory Panel for China-Europe Environment and Climate Industry Cooperation and Development, jointly initiated by the Qingdao Government and the International Federation of Health and Environment Industries, was officially established. Professor Yu is one of the first five members of the Academician Advisory Board.
