September 4th, 2008: Themoin-Gautier, VIDON & Partners IP Law Firm, France visited the School of Management, HUST. Accompanied with the Vice Dean Xinping Xia and Prof. Xiang Yu, she visited different sections of the School of Managementand afterwards comunicated with the students in the Chinese-German Institute of Intellectual Property. The students introduced their researches and practical cases, and discussed different aspects IP.

VIDON & PARTNERS IP LAW FIRM (France), is specialized in Patent Services in the IT field. It is headquartered in Paris and and has clients in differnt countries, e.g. Munich (France), Bangkok (Thailand), Shanghai (China), etc.

The meeting aimed at promoting the understanding of both sides and enhance the cooperation in field of IP between the two sides. Such meeitngs can exploit new opportunities of IP consulting and research for the Sino-French joint ventures. Prof. Weiguo Yang and Vice Prof. Xiaodong Yuan also took part in the discussions with the French guests.
