Prof. Liqiu MENG, Vice-Chancellor, Technical University of Munich Visted the School of Management and Signed the Student Exchange Agreement

June 2nd, 2009: Prof. Liqiu Meng, Vice-Chancellor, Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany visted School of Management, HUST to sign an agreement of collaoboration between the two sides. Xinyu Shao, vice-chancellor, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Liqiu Meng, the first vice-chancellor, Technical University of Munich, signed the agreement. Hao Li, Head, International Exchange Office, HUST, presided the signing ceremony.

Afterwards, accompanied by Tao Zhang (party secretary of School of Management), Long Lirong (Assistant to the Dean, School of Management) and Prof. Xiang Yu (Director, Chinese-German Institute of Intellectual Property); Meng Liqiu visited different sections of the School of Management. While visiting the Chinese-German Institute of Intellectual Property, Meng Liqiu encouraged students to actively strive for the opportunity to learn in Technical University of Munich.

Prof. Xiang Yu, being the key figure in iniating this international cooperation, talking with the students said that, “when we make first-class international research as our goal, then, excellence will become a habit. I hope everyone can take full advantage of this opportunity and actively strive to realize the maximum benefits”.
